The original government buildings and trade centre for British Columbia. There is a ‘working’ museum where you can watch craftsmen ply their 150-year old trades. Also - the village itself is quaint and interesting. A great place for a light meal and sight-seeing.

A unique seaside village - originally the place for Vancouver citizens to get out of the city (by train) for a seaside excursion. Now a great place for an afternoon walk on the promenade, eat great fish and chips (I recommend Montgomery’s) or for an evening walk on the pier after dinner. Charlie Don’t Surf is a local favourite.
