In Shipyard, there is only one access point – and that is located on Shipyard Drive (across from Beachwalk) right next to the Sonesta Resort. Everybody in the whole Shipyard community is funneled into this single access point for beach access at Shipyard Beach Club.

Dining & Shopping in Coligny Plaza and Beach: If you are looking for good shopping spots, you can look into the Coligny Plaza and Beach. If you’re staying in Shipyard and you want to go to the Coligny area, you’re in luck, there’s a gate on Pope Avenue and a short drive, bike ride or adventurous walk and you’ll be there in no time. Coligny has plenty of parking with a new additional lot just recently built. There is also a new park and playground in Coligny area.

Dining & Shopping in Coligny Plaza and Beach: If you are looking for good shopping spots, you can look into the Coligny Plaza and Beach. If you’re staying in Shipyard and you want to go to the Coligny area, you’re in luck, there’s a gate on Pope Avenue and a short drive, bike ride or adventurous walk and you’ll be there in no time. Shelter Cove will have plenty of parking to find a spot so you can walk around while you decide what you’ll try for dinner or take a drive down New Orleans Road for some fabulous restaurant choices. Too many to name. You’re sure to find something for everyone.
