You may swim there privately, it has shallow sandy coast, but on the opposite side of "mazā daugava" is wide recreation park "Lucavsalas pludmale" with guided swimming beach and a lot of children attractions and some eating places and the ice cream.

Riga Plaza Shopping Center is a 10-minute walk from the apartment. There are all kinds of boutiques and a huge grocery store "Maxima", which can soothe most of your creative gastronomic needs. If you are a lover of more specific ingredients, you will probably find it in the bar and restaurant store "Gemoss", just a 10-minute further walk away.

there is public transport "a hour or time" tickets you may on trolleybus, tram and public busses, by single ticket you may reach in hour time every spot in Riga you imagine to go.

You may go out on terrace and spend a time there.
There ir projection in the main room, you may watch some film or an other content on your device. Just check if you have connector to HDMI with you. There is cable to projector with HDMI plug and a minijack connector for the sound. Plug in and use.

What to pack

Weather sites can predict the weather a week in advance with surprising accuracy. And if you dress properly, no weather can be bad for you. We have the whole range from cold to hot and windy and rainy, but always enjoyable. And we have pretty similar weather conditions across the country, so there shouldn't be a lot of clothes to wear.
Be prepared to dress up for a party or adventure or important conversations, I don’t know what’s on your travel plans. And the rest will be fine!

It is good to keep in mind that the whole environment has a lot of Soviet-era heritage and sometimes a culture of behavior, so please take care and judge each place yourself and do not be too optimistic about safety indoors or out of space.
