This is my favorite BBQ place in the world, and it is right here in San Diego. I have watched this place grow from a small hole in the wall in Uptown with a line that snaked down the block. Now it has multiple locations including the airport and Petco Park.

Everyone needs a good place for breakfast and this is mine. Breakfast republic is walking distance to the edge of the Gaslamp Quarter. If you go on a weekend then plan to go early or wait your turn to sit down. Oh, but the wait is worth it.

This is the "nude beach" that everyone always asks about. If you want to walk on the beach at Blacks then be prepared for a very long, sometimes dangerous trek down the cliff to the beach. Just remember that what goes down the trail must also climb back up.

Uber comes quickly because the condo is located at a transportation hub with transfer options.

The Blue Line Trolley will take you all the way to the border with Mexico at the San Ysidro Crossing. Get on and off at stops all along the way.

Least Expensive Trip to the Airport?
The 929 bus route begins right here at City College Station on Broadway and terminates at SAN - Terminal 2. The trip takes about half-hour.
