City Park is amazing! It's full of gorgeous oak trees with long mossy limbs. It is the largest municipal park in the country, larger than Central Park in NYC. Most people don't know that!

There are many gems on this list, but Marjie's takes the cake. Their food is, quite simply, incredible. It's best described as a fusion of Southeast Asian flavors with local seafood and regional dishes. Their menu will incorporate whatever they find at the farmers market that day or whatever fresh catch someone happens to bring in! Also they have a cute back patio seating area if the weather's nice. Pro tip: go for lunch. More bang for your buck. Also visit their FB or IG to see what specials they may have on the menu that day.

This place is so delightful and unique, it's hard to give a description that does it justice. Think quirky repurposed odds and ends built into musical instruments divvied into structures and stations. Local and touring artists and musicians perform here and it's always super creative and out of the box... the environment promotes it. There are also occasional seasonal markets and open hours for the public to explore and play around. https://musicboxvillage.com/
