This is under new management and owners are improving it each year. There is a small distillery (not always open) a cafe with limited food and drink at present(2021) and gardens. Don’t pay for the gardens unless the distillery is open. Not value for money yet. ! A good shop selling their own wares.

City advice

Getting around

Bus transport is easy- a local app helps with timings.

The main bus station is only a 10 min walk away and there are regular buses to all parts of the island including beaches. There is a dedicated bus that runs to the War Tunnels. Buses to the airport are every 15-20 mins and also to Gorey Castle in the east. Buses also run to the beautiful St Brelades Beach and Corbiere but they only run every hour.
Book before you go

Booking for restaurants is advisable

There are plenty of restaurants in Jersey serving wonderful food and especially sea food. There are many restaurants close by (within 5 mins walk) and plenty around the island. Getting around

Buses/Bikes/Taxis

There is a very good bus service to all places of interest and to beaches. There is a dedicated bus to the War Tunnels and also to St Brelades beach but not as frequent as the regular bus routes. There is a bus to and from the airport every 15-20 mins (No15) and no 9 and a No1 at the same intervals to the East of the Island. Bicycles can be hired from the Bus station, a local bicycle shop or there are Evie bikes on the seafront. There are many fantastic walks on the island. I have some maps that can be used by guests. Taxis of course are always available.
