Discover the wonderful Cathedral City Cove, rich in history, especially when it comes to the arts, where painters, photographers and writers have been setting up shop in the eclectic neighborhood since the 1930s. Cathedral City Cove has a vibrant history and is very diverse. The neighborhoods clean, diverse, great character and the HISTORY of this town is quite interesting. You just can’t beat it for location. Its minutes from downtown Palm Springs, The Palm Springs International Airport, Agua Caliente Casino, renound restaurants, bars and is close to the Palm Desert shopping (El Paseo) too. The views from The Cathedral City Cove ( south of Hwy 111) are some of the best mountains around. The San Jacinto Peak, San Gorgonio and San Bernardino mountains. The Civic Center is a lively hub in the city. Its filled with things to do, such as the Mary Pickford Theater, a gorgeous IMAX, restaurants, bars and a fountain play area and much more. Walking and Hiking TRAILS

The dramatic canyon the city is named after. It's about a mile to the end from the trailhead at the top of the Cove housing development. Worth the extra rock scramble up to the plateau at the end. I've seen bighorn in several occasions, and tadpoles in the spring.
