Yeah, yeah, I know, it’s a cliché and it’s not even that typical. But the place is a very good restaurant (I especially like their pizza) and the view of the seaside and the Porto Antico from above it’s amazing, especially for first time visitors. Nothing else needed, I think.

In vino veritas is a risotteria (a place where they are specialised in risotto) which is also a great wine bar, I love their risotto and their matches with wines are amazing. If you’re a wine and/or a risotto lover, this is the place for you.

One of the best pizzerie of the city in an amazing location. You can take a normal pizza or the pizza “al metro”, a big slice of pizza to share with friends of different lengths (half a meter/1’8’’ or one meter/3’3’’ long) and with different toppings on in (usually 3). Also, the view is amazing since it’s located on top of the Righi, the hill right above Genova, easily reachable by the cable railway from Piazza dell’Annunziata. Ask for a table in front of the window if you wanna enjoy the view.

In my opinion one of the (if not the) best aperitivo (soft dinner accompanied with alcoholic drinks very common in Italy) we have in Genova, especially if you take the “Taglieri”, plates where they bring you different types of typical food all together. They also bring you a bowl full of bruschette (toasted bread with flavours on) to accompany the aperitivo. Great food, great drinks and friendly people, what else could you possibly need?
