This is a great tourist spot. You can walk across the bridge, have a bite to eat at one of the great restaurants on the island, then walk down to channel and watch the boats navigating their way out to the lake. There is a boat that leaves about every half hour (I believe it costs a dollar) for California across the lake.

Their baseball fields, speed car races, designated shooting areas, hiking trails, dog parks, miniature plane enthusists. Lots of adventure here!
