One of our favorite coffee shops in Norfolk! They do a great pour over with Counter Culture's single origin coffees out of Durham. Great brunch options on weekends. An easy walk right at the northeast entrance to the hip and historic Freemason neighborhood that will take you across the Hague.

Go for the funky atmosphere and people watching, stay for the rich and buttery sweet potato biscuit sandwiches with southern staples like spicy greens or fried chicken generously stuffed in. Breakfast and lunch only.

Fresh brick fired non-GMO pizza crusts with a constant rotation of fresh and local ingredients, delightful breakfast pastries, and handcrafted loaves of bread baked fresh every day - if you eat gluten Bakehouse has you covered. The best combo is to go next door to the Birch and order some beers, the staff will happily bring your pizza over for you when it's ready. If Kenny's working, tell him Jason and Erin sent you.
