You must visit Croton Dam Park....there's a great hiking trail off of the playground that brings you on top of the bridge and overlooking the dam. Or, just gaze at its beauty from below after parking your car.

This is a 40 minute drive from the house- a winter park- delightful, with the ability to rent cross-country skis, snow shoes, or just walk through the woods. In the summer, a beautiful lake and sandy beach.
