Theatre Royal Winchester situated at the cultural heart of the city is a beautiful 400 seat venue, rich in history but fully attuned to the 21st century. It presents a dynamic programme of the highest quality drama, music, dance, comedy, children’s theatre and pantomime. With its Edwardian-style auditorium and contemporary refurbishments, it is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful theatres in the south of England and is the only surviving cine-variety theatre in the country.

Fab birds eye view of Winchester (plus a beautiful secluded park). Quite a few steps up though!

A bit like Brighton, but with some warships and historic dockyards thrown in for good measure. A fab day out.
