Glasgow and its citizens are friendly folk who love to chat to everyone. They love their city and happy to help visitors with directions and advice on where to eat and drink.
Getting around

Walk or cycle or take the underground

Glasgow city center is compact enough to easily walk around. Try walking along the river side from one side of the city to the other. Bicycles are available to hire or alternative try the underground loop with its orange trains to travel around the western side of the city.
What to pack

What to bring ?

It is often said Glasgow gets all the seasons in one day! so be prepared for rain, wind, sun and on occasion blue skies! An umbrella can be useful but comfortable shoes for walking are essential.
