Natural reserve in the rural part of Medellin. Beautiful to hike around, eat traditional foods at a campesino house and to go out of the city for a day trip. You can reach it through a 1 hour metro/cable car ride. A must see!

If you come to Medellin and are interested in its sad history of narcotraffic and internal conflict violence, you should check this place out. It is a more accurate story than the one you would hear at a "Narco tour" where they supposedly tell you the real story of Pablo Escobar.
Tip from a local: most of us really hate his guts and all he represents, including, of course, the narco culture.
