City advice
Customs and culture
We drive on the LEFT side of the road!
The fun, but challenging thing about driving here in the Virgin Islands is that we drive on the left side of the street.
I remember which side to drive on by remembering that the driver's side of my car needs to be on the "garden side" (not the "street side") of the road.
Please use extra caution if you choose to rent and drive an automobile!
What to pack
Pack beach shoes
Our condo is right on the beach. Our beautiful beach's coastline is filled with coral and therefore you will need beach shoes in order to comfortably navigate the walk along the beach.
There are a few tide pools for taking a dip, however, there are lots of beautiful bathing beaches all throughout the island.
