The rail trail is right across the street. You can see the small trail opposite the Mechanic St parking lot or you can drive. Go under the bridge and take a right or left and then you'll see the parking lot. there is also a short cut through the woods for walking over. It's almost right across the street from the Mechanic side front door to that apartment.
This is a fabulous place to mountain bike or cross country ski. We love bringing our dogs here.

Great hiking, cross country skiing and mountain biking. Our dogs enjoy this easy to get around trail. The Plainfield Elementary school also has a round flat ski track for beginners.

Restaurants
We have many good restaurants in the area. The Pine in Hanover is pricey but great food. Molly's is a fun and a very busy restaurant. Murphy's in Hanover is a typical bar with pub food. We love the Murph burger. Three Tomatoes is in the Lebanon square/green and it has very good pizza; Salt Hill Pub is on the Lebanon green also. Tuckerbox is one of our favorites - it is in White River 12 minutes away. Lui Lui is also a nice casual restaurant. For sushi, we like Yama. For take out we love Phnom Penh for southeast asian food. Also New Thai is about 2 minutes away from the apartments.
