Take an easy stroll and enjoy the coastal gardens. May is high season for azaleas and usually the Azalea Festival. At Christmas the park is ablaze with lights!

What to pack

Dress for sudden weather change!

“Chetco Effect” can warm things up in the 80’s in summer and balmy in Fall! Pouring rain the next! Sometimes it’s warm rain, sometimes cold! Sometimes it doesn’t rain for weeks. And don’t forget your suit for the hot tub! (Semi-private)!
Getting around

Markets

Groceries, Rite Aide, Dollar store, pub, AT&T on Hwy 101, about 3-4 miles north of house. Fred Meyer Store with everything is in Brookings.
