This is a great place to hike and make a day trip. This place does get very crowded w/ bus loads of people so get here early.
The trails are pretty easy but can be a little hard for small dogs, elderly people or someone with knee problems since the stairs can get somewhat steep. It is a lot of walking but nothing extreme. The waterfall and just the entire area is beautiful. (Only about 25min from the Cabin)

Great local spot for food and drinks! When you walk in, The Tom X Pub looks like your basic old school bar but has a lot of opened dining space. The garlic parmesan wings are to die for and the food portions are large so very good for sharing.
Located off of Route 209, by the Country Club of the Poconos Golf Course, they are a family owned and operated restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere where children are welcome. There is a cozy, lake view, pet-friendly porch for the visitors (limited to seating a party of 4).

The owner started it after moving to the US to join his parents who already lived here. It is a family run business All the popular perú dishes are here. They even had Chicha morada. Very Deliscious cold.
