Although I’ve never trekked the whole way to the top as I have young kids we have gone just past the Gibson track and the rainforest is magical. We have drove to the top via the Bulli pass and it is by far the best view of Wollongong and surrounds. If you do make it to the top there’s a wonderful ice cream shop to reward yourself afterwards.

The beach is beautiful and I often spot dolphins riding the waves. Just behind the surf life saving building is a big playground for the kids to enjoy.
