Sightseeing
Skyline Drive (20 min outside of Wintergreen; Rockfish Gap entrance; fee)
The Skyline Drive runs 105 miles north and south along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Shenandoah National Park and is the only public road through the Park. It takes about three hours to travel the entire length of the Park on a clear day.
As you travel along Skyline Drive you will notice mileposts on the west side of the road (right side if you are traveling south, left if you are heading north). These posts help you find your way through the Park and help you locate areas of interest.
Owner’s favorite hike (only 10 miles north of Rockfish Gap) is Turk Mountain.

Hiking
Crabtree Falls (25 min outside of Wintergreen)
The scenic 2.5-mile loop trail to Crabtree Falls is moderate to strenuous with a steep incline and rocky terrain. Hikers should allow 1.5 to 2.5 hours for the entire hike.
This hike can be for all ability levels. There is a paved trail to the bottom of the falls and more experienced hikers can hike up to several different viewing areas.

Buy tubing tickets early
The tubing tickets go on sale Monday at noon for the following weekend. Buy them early: they go quickly.
