Visiting the Jardin École takes a bit of effort since they aren’t often open to the public. Your best bet is the Friday afternoon market which is small but high quality. There are also events (these have been curtailed during Covid but we hope they come back soon).

Great for an after dinner walk To take in an impressive view over of all of Paris. If you stay with us around either of the solstices, the sun will set next to the Eiffel Tower. Sunsets here are great any time of year. There’s always a fun group of people gathered to watch it with you.

Part of the historical legacy of this area, the murs à pêche are a unique blend of gardens and residences. You can visit any time but it’s a good idea to look up the federation website for their festival and other events throughout the year.

Built within the past ten years, this facility is clean, eco friendly and well designed. Huge outdoor pool with a big water slide will keep kids busy for hours. The indoor pool is heated and not very crowded. There is a big separate spa area for adults. They don’t use chemicals to clean the water; they use a natural filtration system instead. Highly recommended.

We aren’t tennis players, but this is supposed to be one of the better racket clubs in Paris and it is an easy walk from our place.
