Be a Great Guest
Tahoe is a friendly place. People are happy to visit and live in South Lake Tahoe. Be a good neighbor. Vacation rentals in neighborhoods have created a lot of tension. Take your partying to the local restaurants, casinos, and bars. Respect neighbors by not having loud parties and playing loud music. As of 2022 unhosted "short term" vacation rentals outside the tourist core are illegal. Its unfortunate but you can do your part by learning respect for local customs and culture while enjoying all Tahoe has to offer.
