Great spot to go hiking / snowshoeing. Incredibly dog friendly -- they can be off-leash once you're away from the trailhead. So many trails to choose from, with awesome views of the mountains.

Book before you go
Book restaurant reservations as far ahead as possible
Popular restaurants, particularly those downtown, tend to book up quickly. If you're coming into town during the ski season, highly recommend booking these reservations as soon as you can (you can always cancel!)
