Absolutely lovely neighbourhood deli/food shop that we are so lucky to have so close to us. Their coffee, sandwiches, meat and cheese is all incredible. If you ever want any advice with cooking any of the meat you’re buying talk to them and they’ll also order in anything you want.

If you're after an Indian I would advise staying away from the busy central London ones which are full of stag dos and instead go here which is so authentic, has delicious veggie options and has incredible parathas!

Another local gem, tiny but mighty Bob’s is a super friendly bar that does great cocktails. On some nights they have live music and they also do food made by next door at Found Hope.

Peckham is known for its rooftop drinking spots and this is the one to come to for great food and drink too. A bit pricey but definitely worth it for the views

This is a big stately home in the middle of London. In the winter it has an ice rink in the gardens, but in the summer its a great place to get a drink in a beautiful outdoor setting. Not a cheap place for a drink, but a very beautiful location.

Beckenham Place Park is our favourite green space in London. Its a big park with a wood and a lake that you can swim in in summer (book in advance) and just a little slice of heaven in Lewisham. Take a picnic, by lunch at their cafe, lose yourself in the woods.

Beautiful country park in Kent which is accessible by train (Thameslink to Sevenoaks) with deer and hills for miles.

Sightseeing
Covent Garden is a big hit with tourists but can be a little manic and busy to navigate. I used to work at the ROH and it's an incredible building to visit. Not a lot of people know this but you can go inside for free and get a drink on the balcony overlooking Covent Garden to soak up the atmosphere in a more relaxing way! If you're interested in theatre, their backstage tour is well worth booking on to and also they often have free small gigs in their foyer areas on Sundays. Have a look at their website for more info.
