A miracle of conservation efforts, the Grand Forest on Bainbridge Island is 240 acres with over 50,000 trees. It is a second-growth forms with native Northwest Douglas fir, Hemlock and Western Redwood Cedar trees. Good for hiking, mountain biking and have horseback riders have access on some trails. Keep your eye out for the Barred Owl or one of the Island's Little Free Libraries and enjoy a picnic at one of the picnic tables. A little rain adds to the atmosphere
