This was the very first Bongo. It is located by Belmont University. Great atmosphere! I once had an art show there. My favorite thing to eat at Bongo is their Fancy Grilled Cheese.

The best music on Broadway is usually here at this old, unassuming Dive bar on Lower Broadway near Tootsie's. If you want a preview, look up drummer goes through the window and Robert's Western World on you tube. Oh yea - and you can get a great burger and fries late night - they make it right in front of you behind the bar. I also think they were the absolute first to offer PBR in a can way back before it was cool. Used to be $2. I'm doubt it is still that cheap.
