Just on the other side of the bridge after the stone gate on the left. Excellent winter pub with good beer and great wholesome food (definitely try their pie!). Try and reserve the small table by the fire if you like.

A high end vegetarian restaurant ((Green Michelin Star Awarded). If you want to treat yourself, even as a meat eater, this is a great place for the service and food. A real treat. Up on the walls past the Storyhouse just after Porta

Great brunch place to go. Busy at the weekends and likely you would have to wait for a table. Just up from Hamayuu on Watergate Street, on the upper level of the Rows.

Old Market inside is a hidden gem soon to be closed. You would probably ignore it but inside the market section are lots of different stalls and some great little food stalls from Thai to Oysters. Also, a great craft beer shop / bar and a wine shop / bar. You can order food / drinks from anywhere and sit at the back seating area. Good informal dining and drinking.
