We love the BBQ at Penguin Ed's. Hearty portions at good prices. Matt likes the three meat platter; I (Rachel) almost always order a BBQ meat baked potato. If you like heat, try the ghost pepper BBQ sauce.

The Fayetteville Farmers’ Market operates year round making locally grown and locally made items available during every season. That said, Saturday mornings are the best time for people watching and buying local produce and crafts. They are open Saturdays: April – November (except the Saturday after Thanksgiving) 7:00 am – 2:00 pm.

We love craft beer, and Apple Blossom does a consistent, decent job at producing a variety of reds, blonds, lagers, APAs, IPAs, etc. We also recommend the Cuban sandwich.

Wilson Park is beautiful in any season to stroll around and see the castle. On warm days, go swimming, play tennis, wade in the creek, clamber on the playground, or have a picnic.

Check out the Razorback schedule and call the hogs at a gymnastics meet, tennis match or basketball game. Win or lose, the pageantry and electric atmosphere of the sporting event is fun to experience.
