Swimming is open (weather permitting) at the swimming pool from 11am-7pm from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Some trails open for mountain biking. Chappel's Field Trail is a good challenge for beginners. More experienced riders find the Three Springs Trail a good intermediate ride. Expert riders find challenge in the Rock N' Ridge Trail and Mountain View Trail. They, of course, offer picnicking (pavilions can be reserved up to 11 months in advance for a fee). Unreserved pavilions also available on first come / first served basis. Also, 200 picnic tables are available throughout the park. Camping is available at the 42-tent and trailer sites open from the 2nd Friday in April through the 3rd Sunday in October. Snowmobile trails are open after hunting season is over, with 8 miles of trail / road. Expert Cross Country Skiing trails.
