Sightseeing

Not much left of the medieval castle (now an art gallery in an 18thC palace), but the cave tour is brilliant and the grounds are nice to visit

The flat is located in the historic Park Estate, the old deer park of Nottingham Castle. Developed as the UK's first planned residential estate from the 1840's. Many of its redbrick mansions still survive, and were the homes of Victorian industry magnates such as Jesse Boot (Boots the Chemist), John Player, Frank Bowden (Raleigh cycles)
