Food scene

Liz’s is one of the best spots in Ptown! It doesn’t hurt that they’re a 2-3 minute walk from our house. Friendliest staff, open year-round with amazing rotation of food specials to boot. If they have bread pudding on the dessert menu it’s a MUST. I suggest making a reservation as they are usually quite busy - they do breakfast lunch and dinner, along with offering takeout.

Jimmy’s is a true gem tucked away on Commercial street, toward the west end, with water views and an incredible menu. The grilled oysters are perfection, and you definitely want to book your table in advance as they are small and very popular with locals and tourists alike.

A must-stop for happy hour as their views of the harbor are unrivaled during sunset. As such, it can be tough to get a spot.. more or less first come first serve. smaller parties with some patience will usually not have a problem, though. Meals here are also fabulous (a little pricey) - can’t go wrong here!!

Tucked away on Commercial - we only discovered Front Street recently and it’s a solid choice for those looking to avoid the touristy spots! Call in advance to make a reservation.

Fast Casual

For meals when you don’t want to have a full service waiter.. or when you want to grab stuff for the beach!
Excellent spot if you don’t feel like cooking or sitting down for a meal - they offer online ordering and it’s a quick 5 minute drive from the house, or about a 15 minute walk! We love their salmon bagel for a quick and affordable breakfast before an active day, but they have great sandwiches too!

Similar to far land provisions, great spot for a quick bite (or drink) with a more casual vibe. Canteen’s biggest asset is their massive beach out back, which is hidden from view as you walk by on Commercial. They have a great Frose for those imbibing, and the lobster roll is solid!

Relish is also a stone’s throw from the house, just down and around the bend (to the right, away from town) on Commercial street. Good coffee& breakfast sandwiches, pre-made sandwiches and salads for lunch (along with made to order) along with a full bakery for those with a sweet tooth. Super friendly staff as well!

Sightseeing / Stuff to Do

If your group enjoys boating, Flyers is an excellent spot to rent a boat for the day and see Provincetown from the water! You’ll want to make sure to have snacks / food / sunscreen / beverages to bring along. Pro tip: To make this excursion more affordable, get together a larger group of 8-10 folks… start socializing at Tea! Also, we suggest calling a day or two in advance to make the reservation!

Easy walk from the house all the way west on Commercial Street, right by the Provincetown Inn. Beautiful views and a small adventure to walk the breakwater to Long Point Beach / Lighthouse. You could pack a picnic and enjoy an afternoon on the other side!

Biking the dunes is a great way to sweat off that hangover! At just 6.6-miles in total, this bike trail isn't too long, but is still home to amazing views. After your ride, you can cool off at the nearby beaches. We offer 2 bikes with the house for a small charge (please message us if interested!) and additional bikes can be rented from Ptown Bikes which is only a few doors down to the East. Also Gale Force Bikes to the west! No matter what time of year you take this bike trail, it's beautiful every time. Whether it be the spring flowers or fall foliage, it can't be beat.
