City/town information

Less than an hour drive from DC & Baltimore! Frederick has everything you need, from the Big Box stores and Chain Restaurants to the quaint small businesses and festivals you won't find in other places. I personally really enjoy the City/Country mix; everything is conveniently located and if you drive 15-20min or so out of the City, you will be up Gambrill Mountain or in a field or at a winery ;) VisitFrederick *dot* org

Neighborhoods

Downtown Historic Frederick is a destination location for Food, Beverage, and the Arts; and we are at the center of it :) All of the restaurants that surround us are delicious and we have many bars/lounges/breweries/microbreweries/distilleries as well as local vineyards and Historic Sites aplenty ;) https://downtownfrederick.org/

Food scene

Right next to us, the absolute closest spot to eat and has won Frederick's Best Burger many years running! I love the Reuben and my vegetarian partner loves their grilled cheese :)

A quick walk around the corner (or through the big back alley) to this high-end, but also down-to-earth, Bar & Restaurant that taps multiple flavor profiles with their varied menu :)

Possibly our absolute favorite restaurant, you have to order the Potatoes Au Gratin (extra crispy)! A few blocks down the street and not cheap, but really worth it ;) (My favorite cocktail is a Ramos Gin Fizz)
