This may be one of the most popular, local bagel and deli spots in the city. Everything from egg bagels to delicious tacos. You will not go wrong with any of the breakfast sandwiches or a bagel + smear, but I love the Turkey BLTA on Challah.

Union Market is one of my favorite places to go on the weekend. It's a food and retail market where you can eat inside or outdoors. There are so many great vendors so go with friends so that you can get a bunch of things and share. Parallel to this market is La Cosecha which offers even more great food and shopping.

Foxtrot market is kind of like an elevated convenience store. What’s unique is that they have highly curated selection of food, beverage, and gifts that are sourced from local brand and other small companies. They have ready to eat selections for takeout, but you can also grab a small bite or a coffee, matcha, or wine in the store. They have multiple locations in DC and they offer delivery.

I order from here a lot. They were once a food truck and now they are a takeout/pickup/delivery spot with killer breakfast sandwiches, bowls, and tater tots. They just opened their location in Shaw (8th st). I love the "Every day I'm Brusseling Bowl"
