This place is a bit more of a walk but is one of the loveliest parks in London and it's a nice walk along the river. Nice cafe at the top of the hill.

If it's raining and you've got small kids this place has a great pool and very nice soft play. Check the times though as they do strict sessions

There are two 'The Bancs' but only one is coming up on this map. The one I'm recommending is actually on the other side of the road - by the entrance to Downhill's park. Great coffee and a nice balcony.
