You may like to bring bug spray!
Bug spray can be difficult to find on the island- and there are some sprays that are better for no see ums.
Customs and culture
Lets take care of our beautiful island!!!
In order to respect our beautiful island, and the wildlife - please pick up all trash and waste and dispose of it properly. Take something to the beach to collect your trash. Also please do not tamper with wildlife. Starfish Sand dollars and other live creatures should never be touched or removed from their natural habitat.
To protect the sea turtles, no flashlights or lights should be at or around the beach unless they have a red filter. Lights confuse the hatchlings and they can get off course when returning to the ocean and end up dying. Thank you for reading this and for caring for HHI
