An eclectic place with old school Yamaha speakers pumping out some 90's rap. This place was open for about a year before we first visited. Since then we've been back many times for the whole chicken, specialty hot dogs and fancy cocktails.

Fancy dining thats not on Kiawah or downtown. The Royal Tern is a beautiful building from the outside and the meals are even better. Great local seafood and good wine in an upscale environment. MAKE RESERVATIONS.

This is one of the newest additions to the Island. Great sushi, great fish specials and friendly bar staff. You will probably need to make reservations but sometimes we chance it and grab a seat at the bar.
Pro Tip: Try and oyster shooter!

Good place for a good burger. Not real cheap (nothing in this city is) but its a great place to stop in for a quick lunch. Probably one of the most kid friendly venues in our guide book.
