Located just on the north side of downtown Perkins on Hwy. 177, Oklahoma Territorial Plaza holds a wonderful assortment of historical buildings moved from other locations in town and the surrounding areas to preserve local history. Meeting facilities that can be reserved for special functions are also available at the Plaza. The Territorial Plaza is definitely a place you should visit while staying at the Old Station. There is even a splash pad at the Plaza for children to enjoy during the summer months. In addition to other points of interest at the Plaza, the Oklahoma Territorial Plaza in Perkins also offers to visitors a Veterans Memorial, a Farm Museum, a Railroad Museum, the original Frank Eaton home, the one room IXL School House that was originally located a mere 3/4 mile west of the Old Station, other historic buildings of interest, and various statues.

Yes, the Stillwater and Perkins area actually has a zoo. And the new owners are committed to making it bigger and better. Check it out while staying at the Old Station. The Lost Creek Safari is 3 miles north of Hwy. 33 and 1-1/4 mile west of Hwy. 177. To get there from the Old Station, drive 3 miles north on Western Road and then 3/4 mile east.

Cimarron Trails is a well-known 18 hole, Par 72 golf course, a pride of Perkins, and in 2006 was included in the Golf Digest 'Best Places to Play.' If you have a hankerin' to play a round of golf while staying at the Old Station, we're sure the Cimarron Trails staff will gladly welcome you to their course. The course is located 3-3/4 miles east of the Old Station on Hwy. 33.

You can choose your ingredients from a large selection of veggies, meats, and cheeses, and have them put on fresh homemade bread. Cedarwood Market is open for lunch most of the week. It is closed on Thursday and Sunday. You can't go wrong with ordering a sandwich from Cedarwood Market while staying at the Old Station.

If you want something sweet around breakfast time while staying at the Old Station, Daylight Donuts on the west side of Main Street on the north side of Perkins is the place to go. Oma and Opa especially recommend their Apple Fritters. But you mustn't dawdle if you want one; they sell out fast every morning.
