City advice

Getting around

Beware of slow-driving golf carts. Cars have the rightaway

Get in line in high season for happy hour by five. Lines get huge. Music is from 5-9pm in all the squares.
Customs and culture

Everyone is super friendly, but competitive at games

Eat in the afternoon to avoid waiting an hour for a table. Lots of people in high season going to same restaurants. Try The CHop House at Sumter Landing, also good.
What to pack

walking shoes, dish clothes for kitchen if you want your own

sunscreen, hats, shorts, cool clothes
Getting around

Pickleball and volleyball, not available to non-resident

Swimming pool nearby on Rio Grande. You can go with a guest card. Without a guest card, just stay in the water, don't lounge there. They cannot ask you to leave if you are in the water.
