Fairly easy hike that is close. You can stop on the first hill which is a good hike or go all the way up which is a bit longer. Very beautiful breath taking views.

What to pack
Chapstick, Bearspray, Mosquito repellent
It is surprisingly dry here, would recommend Chapstick and a bottle of water at all times.
There are wild animals everywhere, would recommend bear spray anytime for hikes or adventures into the wild.
An Alaskan joke is that mosquito's are the State's Bird. They are large just like Alaska, would recommend to have mosquito repellent, they can ruin the fun.
