Kings Beach has enchanting rockpools, a child-friendly water fountain with its time-delayed surprise spurts of water, an oceanfront saltwater swimming pool, and the gentle beach break with protected swimming areas.
Bulcock Beach has a beautiful boardwalk that follows the coastline where you can walk, jog, or cycle. There are numerous shaded seating & picnic areas and BBQ facilities for the public to enjoy.
Bulcock Beach is also a known fishing area with a popular spot located on the lower deck of the boardwalk.
The best time to swim, especially for those with kids, is during the low tide. This is when you can find wading pools by the sand. The river inlet is also an excellent place to swim peacefully because it only has gentle currents and a spacious sandbar. The beach is patrolled only from September to May each year.
A strip of restaurants and Cafes also run along the beach area for those in need of nourishment.
