Beau's is on the main street in Cle Elum. It is a good pizza, pasta and salad place. Good selection, tasty toppings, home made meals. Beau and his Mom run's the place and they do a really good job.

The Cottage is a great place for breakfast and a hangout for locals and truck drivers. Just follow the main street in Cle Elem to the east side of town. The food is great and the service is fast. Don't let a line at the door bother you.

On the main street in Cle Elum is the Cle Elum Bakery. A great place for a soup and salad lunch or bagels and coffee for breakfast. There isn't a large seating area so depending on the time of day you might have to take it with you.

Those on a paleo diet will find the Coal Chute a great place to eat. It's a little pricey but the food is outstanding. It's usually where we go when we are celebrating birthdays, anniversaries or graduations. Highly recommended!

The trail was used by miners traveling to work in the Roslyn mines. It's 5 1/2 miles from Cle Elum to Roslyn with 450-foot elevation. Perfect for light hiking, riding bikes, or walking. The trailhead is off exit 84 on I-90, located at the corner of West 2nd Street and Stafford Street
