(Half a day) Located in our building (entrance next to Żabka), good place for ~2-3 hours of play for a preschooler who needs some movement or entertainment. Coffee's great, food's okey.

For families, I would recommend three pieces of that Museum - Museum for Children located at the ground floor + the room with folk costumes from around the world + cafe/bistro downstairs. Other parts are also not bad.

(Half a day) If the weather's not great, this swimming pool is great for families. Apart from the big pool, there is one for toddlers (knee-deep, see picture), one waist-deep and two jacuzzis and a sauna. The best part is that the water's warm (30 deg Celsius).

26A Wiertnicza(Half a day) If the weather's not great, this swimming pool is great for families. Apart from the big pool, there is one for toddlers (knee-deep, see picture), one waist-deep and two jacuzzis and a sauna. The best part is that the water's warm (30 deg Celsius).

We're spending there many afternoons when weather permits, and it's HUGE.
Apart from historical buildings, plenty of animals are living there freely (peacocks, squirrels, mice, all sorts of ducks, swans, carps and catfish... did I mention PEACOCKS just walking around?)
But there are also three playgrounds:
1. new large wooden one, opening in the spring this year
2. just next to it - integrative one
3. on the other side a Hungarian one. 1 & 2 are located close to Gagarina street entrance, no. 3 is close to Agrykola.
There are three cafes with ice cream and some snacks, but if you want to spend more time there, pack some proper food with you. No bikes!

Everyday affordable restarant (or should I say bar) that I have on my speed dial. I must say, international dishes are often disappointing, but the Polish and Ukrainian ones are a safe bet. I hope you're not on a low-carb diet ;-)

Our favourite chain of coffee shops with great coffee and cakes. They have a decent bistro-like menu as well (quiche, salads, delicious sandwiches). Nothing interesting for the kids though, but they can run around inside or outside.
