You can't come to Cape Town and not go up Table Mountain - amazing views from the top. Plenty of walks up there as well as a restaurant. If you are feeling strong, continue 400 metres down the road and you will find the start of the pathway where you can walk up. There are great city views looking over the city all along this road

Sea Point promenade is a very popular place to stroll along in the mornings and evenings. You can hire a bike for an hour or 2 at the swimming pool if walking is not your thing. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Many restaurants along the way. My favourite for sundowners is the Winchester Mansions.
