Very nice Mexican restaurant & cantina in Lake Havasu City on the island. Great views of the channel and London Bridge. Food is amazing our favorites are the fish tacos and fajitas. Grab a cocktail and enjoy the great food and people watching.

A lunch favorite for us. Also located in downtown Lake Havasu. Delicious menu moderately priced. Friendly staff. Close to our house. This place has an open air feel so nice to eat lunch and people watch those traveling through downtown

I think this place has the biggest menu variety in all of Lake Havasu. You can't go wrong here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Just make sure you are hungry because the portions are huge. Located just outside of downtown and very close to our house.

Great food and vibes. This is right next to the Lake Havasu Airport so you can watch the planes come and go. It is about a 12 minute drive from our house so not as close as some of the other places we recommend but if you find yourself on the north side of town it is worth checking out. Family friendly

Night Life

If you like country and rock music this is the place. My wife and I love to head down here on the weekends for some 2-stepping and line dancing. Great place for some diner and dancing while listening to the live bands that play on Friday and Saturday nights. This is our favorite bar in Lake Havasu We have this saved in the night life category but it is fun to head down during the day as well for some lunch and a cocktail.

Sightseeing

This is the 2nd biggest tourist attraction in Arizona (Grand Canyon the 1st). Read up on the history of how this bridge made it from the Thames river in London to Lake Havasu City almost 50 years ago. This is the only bridge to get onto the island so you definitely need to make it part of your visit here. You can walk across for some photo ops.

Beach spots

If you want to be in the middle of all the action at Lake Havasu head down here with your cooler and pop up tent. During the summer the spots on the water fill up fast so head down early. The beach is clean and there are trash receptacles and restrooms. Float on your inner tubes or paddle down the channel to check out all the boats. This is the best people/boat watching spot on the lake in our opinion. I listed as family friendly because it can be...but also be prepared if you have young children it is not a "G-Rated spot" People blast their music as the drive by in their boats and the music is not appropriate for young kids. Also this is more of a party scene so a lot of people are drinking/dancing etc. so you may not want your kids to be exposed to this. There is a large parking lot so as long as you get here early enough you should be able to find a spot and walk down

This is our favorite spot to set up for a lake day. Much less congested and family friendly. Drive around Beachcomber blvd to the north side of the island. There will be a network of gravel roads which you can take and meander to the edge of the island where if you don't have 4 wheel drive you will most likely want to park and carry your stuff down to the beach. The trail down to the lake can be steep so be prepared for that but once you are set up it is more relaxing and quite than the channel. You can float, swim, or paddle board from this beach.
