Lola Cafe, one of QC’s hidden restaurant gems. *A grandmother’s love is a special and wondrous thing. Whether it was almusal, tanghalian, merienda, or hapunan, every meal that our grandmothers prepared for us was made with love. This is the secret to LōLa Cafe’s resilience and longevity. Whether it’s your first visit, or your fifth, you can’t help but feel relaxed and at home here. Maybe this nostalgic feeling comes from the history of the place– the owners built their restaurant in what was once a post-WWII era residence. The owner of this house on Scout Lozano street was none other than Lola Victoria, the matriarch of the Sanvictores family, and the very same Lola for whom the cafe was
