You're in Brooklyn, right? Well you aren't allowed to leave without getting one of our bagels. Get an everything bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese (and add lox if you want it to be more amazing). I just made your trip worth it!

I mean.. you're in NYC. It's not in Brooklyn but if you're from out of town, you probably don't see a lot of Jewish deli. Katz's legendary pastrami and corned beef will be served to you as a mile high sandwich on rye. Have one with mustard and the other with Russian dressing. Every celeb has been there so you can be a celeb too!

Smorgasburg started in Williamsburg and influenced the rest of the USA. This is a gigantic seasonal outdoor foodie market on Saturdays, offering tons of local favorite vendors & city skyline views. It's actually the largest weekly open-air food market in America ... It's been called, “The Woodstock of Eating.”

Get ready to be blown away when you step into this absolutely delicious Italian joint. The moment you walk in, you'll be happy. The place is grand and welcoming, with this wooden bar, cute garden, sleek dining tables, and penny-tiled floor. They keep it real with minimal decor. They keep it fresh and seasonal, but you gotta start with their legendary sea trout tartare. That joint's been on point since day one, trust me. Then, you can't go wrong with their killer pasta dishes.

You gotta check out this spot on Court Street in Cobble Hill for some amazing bagels. They're the real deal, with just the right amount of air pockets and a perfectly crisp exterior. Keep it classic with their "Member Of The Tribe" bagel, stacked with nova and your choice of plain or scallion cream cheese (go for the scallion, trust me). But let me tell you, their pastrami smoked salmon is also a game-changer. And if you're closer to Park Slope or Gowanus, they've got a second location there at Shelsky's. Don't miss out!

Taqueria Ramirez is all about that Mexico City vibe. This place pays homage to the legendary spots over there. And even though there might be some lines, the wait won't be more than 15 minutes, tops. Trust me, it's worth it. These cooks whip up some next-level tacos that'll have you coming back for seconds and thirds. It's a taco experience you don't wanna miss out on!

Bar with Taco Truck

A bar with a really fun vibe. Amazing taco truck in the yard for some great authentic Mexican food. You're in town from outside the USA? You need to get your Mexican food game on before you leave. This bar does not have pool tables.. it's called Union Pool because it's in a former pool supply shop.

I would say Roberta's Pizza pioneered the trend of exceptional Neapolitan pizza in NYC and beyond. Over time, it has evolved into an internationally recognized brand. This particular Roberta's location is the original, known for its unique blend of a garden and gastro-commune. Don't be put off by its unassuming exterior, as inside you'll discover some of the finest dinner pizza in NYC. Additionally, they cultivate their own ingredients right in the backyard.

Brunch

Situated close to the Williamsburg Bridge and Peter Luger, Meadowsweet is a chic and delightful restaurant that offers a delectable Mediterranean-inspired brunch. With an elevated menu that exudes charm and accompanied by friendly service, it's no wonder they have earned a Michelin Star. What's even more remarkable is that Meadowsweet manages to maintain affordability without compromising on portion sizes.
