Right on the front of the action this is the perfect spot for fresh food, the best smoothies, coffee , and I love the natchos! Look for the mosaic surfboard out front!

Definitely check out the national park prepare for an entire day the beaches are mind blowing! Wear comfortable shoes for walking and bring what you need for the day go early leave when they close! They don't allow food but I have been known to stash a few granola bars somewhere !

Definitely check out the national park prepare for an entire day the beaches are mind blowing! Wear comfortable shoes for walking and bring what you need for the day go early leave when they close! They don't allow food but I have been known to stash a few granola bars somewhere !

We love this beach for so many reasons ! Take a taxi to Playa Biesanz Its off main road towards the beach it's about 5 min from the house. But when you arrive you need to do a little hike down a rocky dirt road I've been bringing my son since he was a baby. You need to remember to pack light walk slowly and enjoy the wild life while you walk to the most magical beach! Bars and some food are usually sold down there by locals. The water is wonderful be aware of the rocks when you get in depending on the tides the waves can creep up on you. When you get back up to the main road after your beach day taxis are usually always waiting. WE USUALLY SPOT HOWLER MONKEYS AROUND THIS AREA

In front of the main area of the beach you and walking around the beach you will see the horses walking and they will charge you for a little ride up and down the beach. It's been something my son loves to do every time we are there. Price varies but not expensive at all !

Getting around
Busses are and taxis are a good way to get around.
The public bus comes to you right on the main road get on the other side of the street to head down to the beach and our side of the street to head to Quepos.

Always look around for wild life
You will see so much wild life here relax and just observe your surroundings. This place is exploding with jungle sounds and jungle creatures! Don’t miss the national park it is incredible and worth waking up early for.
What to pack
Pack light, pack inexpensive items GOPRO would be fun
I always pack sandals, flip flops, and a pair of sneakers I don't mind getting dirty. It's super hott and humid so think breathable clothing light and cotton or linen. I always bring my own sunscreen and one bug spray of choice. Maybe pack a poncho if it's the rainy season between may- november. Waterproof backpacks and cell phone cases have saved me!
