This is the place to eat if you want to be right on the water. It is just gorgeous, the food is delicious, and Opra once dined here. It is about a 30 minute drive from our home, and scenic all the way!

This is where we go when we want to treat ourselves. The food is amazing, the service is top notch, and the setting is fabulous. Located right on the river, you can eat inside, outside under cover, or outside under the sky. About a 20 minute drive.

This is one of the more upscale restaurants in the area. As the title suggests, it was once a schoolhouse and the old blackboards are still being used. They also offer Sunday brunch.

This might be the most iconic lobster roll place in the state of Maine. The lines are usually quite long, and if that looks imtimidating, do what we do and go across rt-1 to get your lobster roll at Sprague's.

Great beer and pizza and so close to our home. When the weather is ideal in the summer and fall, we sit outside and we feel like we are on vacation.
