These historic trains operated by a nonprofit run regularly scheduled rides for guests between Garibaldi and Rockaway Beach.  The train goes from the Tillamook Air Museum through Garibaldi, Rockaway Beach, and Wheeler Oregon.  The tracks then head East into the coastal mountains along the gorgeous Nehalem and Salmonberry River canyons.

TBCC Community Education Class exploring where the indigenous people inhabiting this area may have walked after leaving their canoes. Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) openly available some of the likely trails can be determined. The presence of certain plants important to life can help verify if indeed it was historically used.
