Gateway Park is a great spot to cool off at the little beach on the Colorado River. Gateway has the best view of the Ocean to Ocean Bridge as well as a park, which makes it a fun & unique spot for a picnic!

About 15 minutes outside of Yuma are the Imperial Sand Dunes. They hold the title of the countries largest area of inland dunes, stretching over 40 miles. The Dunes make for the most beautiful photo drop or a really great ride in your off-road vehicle! Fun Fact!! Our Sand Dunes served a large role in the making of "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi."

West Wetlands is a Yuma Resident Staple! There's a Beach, Boat Ramp, Disc Golf Course, Equestrian Trail, Gardens, Grills, Picnic Tables, Playground, Pond, Ramada(s) & Walking Path. You can also rent tubes to float down the river by contacting Yuma River Tubing, located at West Wetlands & provides shuttle service.

The Garden Cafe is one of our family favorites. If you make it to the Garden you have to try the tortilla soup...we guarantee it will be one of the best you'll ever have!! The Cafe is only open October through May, so we hope you'll come back if you miss it in the summer season! PSA- It is outdoor seating with a beautiful variety of birds in an aviary.
